Research Interest

My research interest largely on parasitic organisms of marine and freshwater fishes. Nevertheless, I started my undergraduate research project on epibiotic organisms of sea turtle. Today, most of my research has focused on one phylum – Myxozoa, the microscopic, spore-forming, endoparasitic metazoans. Specifically I am interested in discovering and describing novel species, taxonomy (morphological & molecular characterization), and discovering life cycles by the aids of molecular diagnoses.
